Suggestion: Player Squads / Units for Galactic War Coordinations

I think it would be great to add a Squad/Unit system to DiversHub.

The idea would be to allow players to create or join squads where they can coordinate with other Helldivers around the Galactic War.

For example:

🪖 7th Vanguard Squadron 🇪🇸
👥 25 members
🎯 Current objective: Planet X
🟢 18 members deployed
⚪ 7 members available

Possible features could include:

• Create public or private squads
• Squad name, emblem and language/country
• Invite or join other players
• Squad chat
• Choose a current target planet
• See how many squad members are fighting on that planet
• Announce coordinated deployments or operations
• Notifications when the squad changes its target
• Allow multiple squads to coordinate towards the same planetary objective

It could even be expanded later into a hierarchy such as Squad → Platoon → Regiment, allowing larger communities to organize themselves.

DiversHub already has the Galactic War map, Live Comms and community features, so I think a Squad system would be a natural next step.

It would turn DiversHub from simply being a tool to follow the Galactic War into a tool that helps the community actively coordinate and fight it together.

For example:

“7th Vanguard Squadron — All members deploy to Planet X for the next 2 hours.”

I think this could make the Galactic War much more immersive and give players a real sense of being part of an organized Helldiver unit.
