In the new version, progress of liberation stays the same as the time I opened the app. To update planets/settlement progress, I need to close the app and reopen it. I tried to reinstall the app to no success.

Anyway could you please attach app screenshots or screen recording with visible planet stats to confirm this bug?

You are right, my bad. It's 1.9.2! I do not know how to show it through screenshots,but will try, I opened the app 30 mins ago.
1st screenshot was taken 30 seconds ago.
2nd screenshot was taken after I restarted the app, like 20/15 seconds ago
The difference between screenshots are few seconds, but you can see drastic changes after restart, things does not update visually?

All good 👍 Nothing’s broken here.
Those planets just look like they “jump” because liberation is moving very slowly most of the time — and then it spikes when Helldivers secure certain regions that grant a big liberation bonus. So after a restart (or a refresh), the app pulls the latest snapshot and you can see a noticeable change even if only a few seconds passed.
So yeah: UI is updating correctly — it’s the underlying liberation math/bonuses that make it feel inconsistent at first glance. Tap on the planet card and you will see region liberation progress.
